Once upon a time, teachers had to handwrite all their reports. Then, from the heavens, came computers and all was good. Teachers found their time usefully absorbed in typing into computers, working slower than they probably did before.

Statement banks appeared from behind dusty cupboards, and suddenly everyone was better/improving/working hard to improve. Clever techies designed programs that almost automated these statement banks, so you ended up with a lovely collection of generic, slightly bland reports.

Report Fairy aims to change all this. We want teachers to deliver professional reports on their charges in a sensible and practical way. In almost any other sector, writing a 10,000 plus document at the same time every year would normally involve support, leave time or a PA's assistance.

This is where we step in
This site has a small but growing set of resources for you to use, free of charge, in order to make your report writing much more streamlined and, dare we say it, more interesting to do!

If you simply can't face even writing them, then our scribing service may well be just what you are looking for. Simply set yourself up one free evening (or even half an hour a day for a week), and dictate your reports to a cassette recorder or your computer. Buy some credit, upload or send them to us, and we'll have your reports written in a jiffy.

If you really can't face the reports, our Scribe Plus service will design or insert your finished reports into a range of templates, saving you the effort. If your school or college has their own design, email it to us and we will do the rest!

Sounds daunting
It isn't. We explain everything in our guide, and have a great set of links to helpful sites should you get stuck. If you can play music on your computer and find a file to email, you can use our system, we promise!

Sounds expensive
